Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations.
A disciple is an apprentice.

A disciple lives a life surrendered to God’s plan.
“33 So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.” —Luke 14:33
Not everyone that follows Jesus is a disciple.

Myth 2: The false idea that discipleship should ideally be a program that should be carried out by pastors.
A personal invitation is one of the most valuable commodities of discipleship.
Myth 3: The false idea that discipleship is something we’re entitled to.
“27 And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.” —Luke 14:27
“10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.” —Hebrews 6:10
Discipleship comes with a commitment.

- Find a small group that fits your family.
- Go with a heart to serve and mentor others.
- Every year, re-evaluate & re-invest in the first two commitments.
Discipleship does not happen in isolation.
