Sunday’s Message – The results of rejecting God never end well. You can see it in so many areas in our current world. Confusion seems to reign and vileness is being exalted. Why is this the case? Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said it best, “men have forgotten God, that’s why all this has happened.” The end of Romans 1 shows us that all nations and peoples are trapped in sin. It is not a new problem as it highlights things that have happened even in the book of Genesis. We invite God’s passive and active wrath when we reject Him. This section in Romans also displays that it is easy to see the problems around us and in others but we are often blind to our own areas of sin. The good news is that we don’t have to stay that way and through Jesus we can be brought back to our right relationship with Him.

Weekly Fighter Verse – Romans 2:4 - “Or do you presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?”
