Mark 5:21-43
GET THIS: Fear transitions into faith as we come to know that the reversal of death is the way of Jesus.
Introduction
Read Romans 5:12 & Ephesians 2:1
There is literal death, but there is also the death of a thousand other things. Death touches everything. And with that comes fear! The fear of loss (or the fear of never even having) losing or never having that thing or that relationship or the experience or that environment that we long for.
Today we’re going to see 4 examples of this. One of them is literal physical death, but the other 3 are not. One is a religious deadness, the next is the deadness of loss, and the third is the deadness of doubt! And in all four situation we will see the good news of Easter! Fear transitions into faith as we come to know that the reversal of death is the way of Jesus.
