Monday 3/11: Mark 12:18-14:10 (Read)

Seek to do a ‘reading from 3000 feet’ of these chapters, not focusing too intently on any part but just enjoying the whole. Note any words, passages, or ideas that stand out to you.
Prayer Prompt: What is the invitation of Jesus in this passage? Spend some time in prayer thanking God and pondering His invitation.

Tuesday 3/12: Mark 12:18-34 (Listen)

Calm yourself and then read passage reflectively two times, pausing for a few minutes between readings. After each reading ponder: what phrases, words, ideas stood out and why? Savor those words or ideas as a little word of God for you.
Prayer Prompt: Ask God for the grace for whatever you need most right now. If you’re not sure what to ask for, you might ask for the grace to really be present to Jesus in this moment.

Wednesday 3/13: Mark 12:35-44 (Ponder)

Read the passage, or a section of the passage, reflectively two times, pausing a few minutes between readings. After each reading ponder what words, ideas, and passages, stood out to you.
Prayer Prompt: How is God meeting you in this passage? How is God beckoning you to love God, others, and even yourself today?

Thursday 3/14: Mark 13:1-31 (Pray)

Read the passage once, listening attentively. Has God addressed you in this word and invited you to respond?
Prayer Prompt: Spend some time in prayer. Do not censure your thoughts or requests; just let them flow spontaneously and freely before the Lord who loves you. Respond to God’s invitation to you.

Friday 3/15: Mark 13:32-37 (Apply)

Read the scriptures twice has you have been doing through the week. Between readings ponder today’s readings and the readings from the week.
Prayer Prompt: What might be God saying to you in this passage and the other passages this week? What might God be calling you to or leading you to understand? What action might God be calling you to take?

Saturday 3/16: Mark 14:1-11 (Prepare)

Read the passage two times and take times of quiet and reflection between.
Prayer Prompt: Ponder with God what you would desire to desire today, what response to God that you don’t want, but you ‘want to want it.’ Pray that God would give you the desire to desire that response.

Sunday 3/17: Mark 14:1-10 (Read)

Even though you read this passage yesterday, read it again slowly and reflectively. Note any words, passages, or ideas that stand out to you.
Prayer Prompt: What is the invitation of Jesus in this passage for you today?
