November 10, 2024

Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:2

I am made for eternity.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

HOW TO LIVE WITH AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE

Decide to invest your life in eternity.

“Live in such a way that God’s love can bless you as you wait for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy is going to give you.” Jude 1:21

“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is.” Psalm 39:4

“This one (Jesus) who is life from God was shown to us, and we have seen Him. And now we testify and announce to you that He is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then He was shown to us.” —1 John 1:2

“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal. — Matthew 6:19

This Week’s Power Verse:

Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. Matthew 6:20-21

“The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.” Luke 16: 8

“Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.” Luke 16:9

“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
