Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we have right relationship with God.
Romans 5:17 NLT
For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
The gift of righteousness is ours as a result of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Ephesians 2:8 NLT
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

One day David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive—anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”
The blessings and favor received by being in covenant are based on the commitment of the greater to the lesser. Benevolence, love, and grace are the establishing factors.
The devil’s greatest victory is for a child of God, an heir to God’s kingdom, to identify with their weakness and failure more than their position of honor and freedom.
God has come to heal the broken and bind up the wounded, breaking the power of fear imposed upon you by another.
2 Samuel 9:4 NLT
“Where is he?” the king asked. “In Lo-debar,” Ziba told him, “at the home of Makir son of Ammiel.”
2 Samuel 9:6 NLT
His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, “Greetings, Mephibosheth.”
Mephibosheth replied, “I am your servant.”
We have blessing and favor waiting for us - a “yes and amen” kind of life - because of a covenant established by God and Jesus for us. The power of dominion decreed in Genesis 1:26,28 has been reestablished, if you know it!
Genesis 1:26,28 NLT
26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
Hebrews 6:18-19 NLT
18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.
19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.
2 Samuel 9:8 NLT
Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, “Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?”
Our ability to receive the gift of righteousness, sanctification, healing, power, or anything of the goodness of God is connected to how we see ourselves.
Colossians 1:21-22 TPT
Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored.
2 Samuel 9:10-11 NLT
10 You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master’s household. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, will eat here at my table.” (Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.)
11 Ziba replied, “Yes, my lord the king; I am your servant, and I will do all that you have commanded.” And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly at David’s table, like one of the king’s own sons.
And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly at David’s table, like one of the king’s own sons.
TIFAW
I am in covenant with God and am free from the pain imposed on me by another.
The more I understand my position as an heir, the more I live like one.
God calls me to His table of provision and friendship; I boldly come and take my place.
