1 – How often do you think about your expectations? Do unmet expectations ever catch you off guard?

2 – Read James 4:1. What is the cost of not thinking through or communicating your expectations?

3 – Read Jeremiah 12:1-7. Do you approach God with your real expectations? Do you also maintain an openness to His plan?

4 – Read Luke 10:1-3. What kind of hope does Jesus have for His followers? How can that impact our expectations of others?
