Mark 1:14–15

v.14—John is arrested. The term for arrested is significant, for it will be used for Jesus later in Mark’s Gospel when Jesus is delivered up and handed over to be crucified.

v.15—Jesus preaches God’s Gospel—a message from God about God. It is a threefold message—The time is fulfilled; the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the Gospel.
