“I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”

Lifting Your Legacy Through Relationships with…

1)

: Put Him first before anything else, for He is always with you.

• No one is 100% with you 24/7, except for God. The God head 3 in 1, is the power on which we can lean.
• Thank, pray and trust.
• Putting God first means obedience.
o Serving, tithing, loving one another
o Being in God’s Word daily, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal what is meant for you, what you need and what He wants you to do. We all have a mission here on earth. Join a community group.
• Limit distractions.

 Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
 Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
 Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
 Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
 John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.”

2)

: You cannot love others completely if you do not love yourself.

• Be self-aware and honest with yourself. Serenity Prayer: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
• Reprogram negative self-talk. Instead, focus on what God says about you.
• Address the past hurts and traumas, to flourish and live up to what we are called to do.

 Romans 12:3 Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Do not think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
 Psalm 139:14 I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
 Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
 Ephesians 5:29 No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church.

3)

: A Gift given to us, all generations.

• Savor the moments with one another.
• Be open, we can all learn from one another.
o Learn to be present and listen.
• Give and take. Be generous in grace yet set standards and expectations.
• Communicate, communicate, communicate. (Verbal & non-verbal communication)

4)

: Showing you care means more than you know.

• We are all going through something… Some of us just hide it better than others. See in between the lines.
o A smile, wave, or text can mean the world when one is struggling.
• Don’t take things personally, it is not always about you.
• Fight the urge to hide. Muster up the energy to step out and reach out.
• Encourage one-another, pray for one-another.
