Texts: Rom. 8:33-35, Heb. 7:25, 1 John 2:1
Rom 8:33-35a

- Suddenly, the Angel of the LORD, Who is Himself referred to as the LORD, appears interceding for Joshua, proclaiming that this is a brand, plucked out of the fire. He takes off the filthy garments of Joshua (picturing his own unrighteousness) and then clothes him in new robes and garments (picturing imputed righteousness).
