Prayers of PROTECTION
What do you pray about regularly in your daily life? The apostle Paul prayed for a few specific areas that we sometimes overlook in our prayer time. How much do you pray for the following?

Pray for the

to rapidly into

hearts.

Pray for

from who try to

harm and you.

Pray for

from wicked

Say this prayer daily to the Lord when you sense harm, corruptness, and evil surrounding you (and believe what this prayer means)!

Lord,

Discussion Questions

Has anyone ever HARMED or tried to CORRUPT you?
Have you ever experienced gossip, slander, or abuse from people who do not live out the faith? Have you ever been pulled into a group of people who have had a negative effect upon you? Do you believe that a prayer of deliverance is powerful in these situations? Have you ever thought about praying for someone how is being harmed or corrupted? Is there someone you should be praying for right now?

What does the Bible say about RUNNING a RACE?
Study the following passages about the race we are involved in spiritually (Heb 12:1; 2 Tim 4:7; Is 40:31; Ps 119:32; 1 Cor 9:24-27; Gal 5:7). What does it mean to finish the race? Why is perseverance (remaining under) so important when trying to finish, instead of sprinting and then quitting? Are you taking care of yourself spiritually so that you can run the marathon called “faith” for many decades?

What are the main SCHEMES of Satan?
The devil is an accuser (Rev 12:10); lies to you and about you (John 8:44); ignites anger and unforgiveness (Eph 4:26-32); builds strongholds in our minds (2 Cor 10:3-5); twists Scripture (Mt 4:1-11; Gen 3:1); offers a tempting alternative to obedience (Lk 4:5-7). How can you pray against these schemes? Does praying with an awareness of these schemes give you alertness and watchfulness?

Does God really keep us from ALL HARM?
Read Psalm 121. After reading this psalm, it can appear that we are invincible and all we must do is cry out to the Lord and He will never allow anything bad to happen to us. But we know from real life that disease, disasters, divorce, and discouragement happen even after we have prayed for deliverance. So, what does this psalm and others Bible verses mean when it states that God will protect us? Could the words of Jesus point us to the complete truth (Mt 10:28-33).
