Using My Blessings For Good
Sunday | February 2, 2025
Pastor Ray
Genesis 12:2 / CSB, “I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”
1. Get Right With God through His cross examination.
Micah 6:1-4 / ESV, “Hear what the Lord says: Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice. 2 Hear, you mountains, the indictment of the Lord, and you enduring foundations of the earth, for the Lord has an indictment against his people, and he will contend with Israel. 3 “O my people, what have I done to you? How have I wearied you? Answer me! 4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.”
*krínō: **a dispute in a court of law, to present evidence.*
Jeremiah 17:10 / NIV, “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
Psalm 139:23 / CEV, “Examine me, God! Look at my heart! Put me to the test! Know my anxious thoughts!”
Romans 3:22 / NLT, “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.”
2 Treat my blessings as a trust and a test.
Micah 6:5 / ESV, “O my people, remember what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, and what happened from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord.”
Luke 12:48b / ESV, “Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.”
3 Follow God’s game plan.
Micah 6:6-8 / ESV, “With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I
give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” 8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
nâgad: to be told; to be made known
Ephesians 2:10 / “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
