To Hear What God Sees
June 9, 2019

James 1:23-25
23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

We trade Inspiration for Devastation

World Sees WORD Says

But we are to reflect Gods Declarations and not Our Situations

We are reversing our promises by define ourselves By what we see, and not by what God has said.

When you focus on the limitations you can easily miss the manifestation.
When your life is directly in conflict with what God has told you about your life,

Do you focus on the limitations of your situation, or are you still believing for the manifestation of Gods declarations to you?

Are you looking or believing?

  1. Focusing on what you heard
  2. Then Doing what you heard
  3. Believing that acting on what you herd will be blessed

What you heard in the Word is what God knows about you.

God didn’t say, “I think I have plans for you.”

Jeremiah 29:11

We are looking at our own inadequate image, & not the image we were made in.

Jude 24

When Jesus presents you as faultless it isn’t the first time.
It’s the last time.

Jesus’s presence in our lives is not limited to a physical visitation.

Our most frequent interaction with him is in the Word

John 1:1-4

He was involved in the creation of all things

John 1:14
The Word is the full embodiment of all that is God
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

RHEMA means “a spoken word”.
LOGOS implies God’s complete message to mankind.

Before Jesus came to earth in human form, he pre-existed with the Father

Matthew 13:19

Exodus 4:10-12

God said He would be with us when we go and do that which we have heard.

How you see yourself changes your reality and narrows your faith, limiting what God will do through you.

WHEN WE REJECT GOD’S WORD, WE ARE REJECTING HIS SON

Luke 10:16

When you look, it may appear that the forces are great against you, but its time for us to hear what God sees!

2 Kings 6:16-17
