“PATIENCE at the End of My Rope”
Galatians 5:22-23
Series: BECOMING: A Work in Progress
Galatians 5 contains an amazing list we call “The Fruit of the Spirit.” Today, we are looking at the fourth characteristic in that list – “Patience.” The Apostle Paul uses a very descriptive word (“macrothumia”) to help us understand patience.

Memory Verse: “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:12-13 NIV)
