
BIG PICTURE: Sometimes it is easy for us to blame God for not being there in the toughest portions of our lives. We are like the poem writer of the sand quote featured in most bathrooms in midwest America. The Disciples thought in the storm that Jesus didn’t care, he did, because he was in the boat with them.
TEXT: Mark: 4:35-41
KEY VERSE: “Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”
