Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. —Proverbs 4:23
Weeds grow without work, and they often fast. Fruit grows with intention and abiding.For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. —Jeremiah 29:11
1. Hope is an
for our souls.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. 20 where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. —Hebrews 6:19-20
- This world is full of wind and currents, pulling us in all kinds of directions.
- But we have an anchor for our souls - it’s Jesus Himself, and the hope that comes from Him.

And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! —Romans 5:5 TPT
2. Hope is the confident
of good.
- Anxiety is the
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” —Luke 10:41-42
- Worried - to be anxious, and troubled with cares. This can become such a serious issue that it makes us unfruitful (Matthew 13:22).
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. —Matthew 6:31-33
When we seek His Kingdom and righteousness first,
If you know how to worry, you already know how to
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. —Philippians 4:6
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. —1 Peter 5:7
Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you. —1 Peter 5:7 TPT

your soul in hope.

When shall I come and appear before God?

“Where is your God?”

With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.
> 5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? > And why are you disquieted within me? > Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
