We Celebrate His Covenant
Luke 22:1-38
Our nation’s capitol is filled with memorials. For many who visit, the most impressive memorial of all is the Vietnam War Memorial. Etched in granite are the names of 58,276 men and women who sacrificed their lives for their country. Well hours before he died, Jesus Christ established a memorial that has endured for nearly 2,000 years. Jesus knew how weak our memories are, and he established a memorial, that we call communion, to serve as a reminder of his death.
