Pastor Matt

Communion is a time for us to come together as the family of God and

what Jesus has done for us.

What are we celebrating?

  1. Communion celebrates our

    salvation.
    1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures…
    Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
    John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

  2. Communion celebrates

    forgiveness.
    1 John 1:9
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

  3. Communion celebrates our

    .
    1 Corinthians 11:26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
    1 Corinthians 2:9
Eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
