The Journey of Discipleship

Matthew 28:16-20 NIV
“16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with youalways, to the very end of the age.”

How we Disciple:

  1. Engage in Community- Acts 2:42-47

    • Are we engaging in discipleship places that are around us?

  2. Prioritize Time- Luke 9:23-24

    • Are we making intentional time to have a relationship with Jesus and make discipleship a part of our lives?

  3. Lead Others - Matthew 20:20-28

    • Are we serving within our community and making efforts to disciple others?

  4. Be Led and Discipled - Hebrews 10:22-25

    • Are we being Discipled and fed into by somebody else?
