Focus Scripture:
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. —Ezekiel 36:26-27 (ESV)

- What compelled Daniel to fast and pray in Daniel chapter 9?
Application
Remember that Daniel was essentially a prisoner in Babylon, yet God gave him favor with ungodly rulers to bring Him glory. Where has God placed you as an “exile” to live with goldy character and bring Him glory?
Would you have responded as bravely as Daniel when praying to God could cost his life? Ask God to help increase your faith.
