- Referring to verses 1-2, what do you see in the passage / did you hear in the message about the value of being able to rely on God’s faithfulness from a place of familiarity? How might you grow in living with this kind of security in God?
- Referring to verses 3-5, how do you see David humbly owning his own sinfulness before God? Why might this be important when we’re being or feeling attacked?
- Can you share the story of a time when the Holy Spirit convicted you that your own sinfulness was playing a role in a broken relationship? How did you respond to that conviction? Have you ever experienced healing in a broken relationship as a result of you or someone else inviting God’s grace into a situation in this way?
- What do you see in verses 7-11 about the kind of confidence and peace that can be found through knowing that you are in right standing with God? How does the gospel fulfill the truth see here?
