We Walk by Faith

11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that
place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and
descending on it.
13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the
God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and
the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you
wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place!
This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” —Genesis 28:11-16

  • The house of God is a place where there’s an between heaven and earth.

1) With every God, we have an invitation to live by faith.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. —Romans 10:17
For we walk by faith, not by sight. —2 Cor 5:7 NKJV

7 for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. —2 Corinthians 5:7, TPT

2) A life of faith is not limited only by what I can .

14 So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 and as those who bore the
ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),
16 that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into
the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. —Joshua 3:14-16

3) A life of faith is not limited by what I .

“Sing, O barren,
You who have not borne!
Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,

You who have not labored with child!
For more are the children of the desolate
Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare;
Lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited. —Isaiah 54:1-3
