- 9/11 24 Hours of Prayer | September 11th-12th - 20 years ago the world changed forever as terrorists attacked our country. 20 years ago, we promised to “never forget” as our leaders gathered on the steps of congress singing “God Bless America” in unity. However, we have forgotten as life has moved on. Our country has drifted farther and farther from God and have moved on from the tragedies of 9/11. As a church we sense the Lord is calling us to prayer for our country and our world as we reflect back on 9/11. Thus, from 9am on 9/11 to 9am on 9/12, we are asking individuals and families to gather in our Living Prayer Room for one hour shifts of prayer. Sign up by clicking here.

BAPTISMS
Have you been thinking about getting baptized? Start here.
Mike Bettiga
What was life like before you found Jesus?
Before I found Jesus I thought I was a Christian and I was just going through the motions going to church and lying to myself telling myself and the people around me that everything I was doing was okay.
How did you come to know Jesus as your Savior?
I was told that Jesus was my savior my whole life growing up but I never really understood it until I had seeds planted in me on my first bike trip and then this last bike trip that I just went on I came to the realization of how far I had fallen away from God and I decided to recommit my life to Jesus.
How has Jesus made a difference in your life?
Since I have let Jesus take control in my life I’ve had peace in my darkest moments and I’ve found so much joy from sharing about him.
Why do you want to get baptized?
I want to get baptized to show my love and obedience to god and I feel like I’ve been called to evangelize and the ultimate purpose of baptism is to show that you’ve given up your life to Jesus.
Francesca Bettiga
What was life like before you found Jesus?
I was born into a christian family so I grew up going to church every Sunday. I always knew about the Lord but before I truly found him myself, life was boring and never quite felt complete.
How did you come to know Jesus as your Savior?
Again I grew up believing, but I found Jesus as my savior when I got older and started to read his word, and my faith really became my own relationship with him not just my parents.
How has Jesus made a difference in your life?
Jesus has made a huge impact on my life, i’m a much happier person when i’m reading his word, and I truly love doing it and learning about him, I think it’s amazing how he loves us unconditionally. I struggle from bad anxiety and the Lord helps me through it with prayer.
Why do you want to get baptized?
I got baptized when I was about 5 but I didn’t know much and wanted to do it not because of my relationship more because that’s what my older brothers were doing. I didn’t really have my own relationship with him then. I now want to get baptized because I have my own connection with him and want to show the world my love and faithfulness to him.
