Sermon Summary
Christ commanded us to embrace a new commandment. This new commandment is that love is to be exercised towards one another because we are disciples of Christ. The love of Christ which the disciples had seen exercised by Jesus would now be a testimony to all of us to exhibit to the world.

Memorable Quotes
Our love for one another should be our boldest witness to a desperate and dying world. —Derek A. Ward
The love we received from God – the gospel love – is not something that is meant to be kept for ourselves. We are meant to be a conduit, not a cul-de-sac. —Derek A. Ward
Reflective Questions
“Is your love a sacrificial, selfless love that reflects the same gospel love God pours into you each and every day? ”
“Is it a self-motivated, superficial love meant to put on a performance or impress others? ”
“Is it a passive love that only acts when it’s convenient for you or cost you nothing?”
