Genesis 2: 1-5
Sometime later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. 2  Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” 3  Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about.  4  On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.  5  He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”

Ezra 8:15; 21-23
15  I assembled them at the canal that flows toward Ahava, and we camped there three days. When I checked among the people and the priests, I found no Levites there. There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions.  22  I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.”  23  So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.

Luke 8:46-48
And Jesus said, somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47  And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48  And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
