Day 2: The Heavens declare His Glory

In Genesis 2, the author covers only one day of the creation week – the sixth day in detail. The author gives greater detail to the creation of man as the culmination or high point of creation. As you read the creation account you also see that God creates with the power of His word. God speaks and life appears, light happens, emptiness becomes full, and chaos becomes a cosmos. His creation also declares the glory of His greatness and screams that His is awesome, bigger than we dreamed, and worthy of our worship and powerful enough to trust with our lives! The same God who created all there is out of nothing, who spoke all the galaxies into existence and measures the heavens with His hand also cares about me.
