Colossians 1:18
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
If Jesus is the Head of the Church, then the Church is His Body on earth.
1 Corinthians 2:16
16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
If we have the mind of Christ, we will have the spine of Christ.
1 Timothy 3:14-15
14 These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly; 15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
A Church that is grounded in truth will take ground for truth.
Matthew 5:14
