The true Christmas message is that we are so lost that we needed God himself to intervene to save us. Much like the Jews in Ezekiel’s day heard what they wanted to hear, how has our society and even the church altered the Christmas message to fit what we want to hear?
What do we typically want from Jesus, and how does that often conflict with what he came to say and do? What do we need to do differently in order to hear Jesus and make the changes that he requires?
How can we share the real Christmas message when people don’t always want to hear it? What value is there in sharing even when we’re ignored?
