We consider the second of the seven churches of Revelation 2 and 3. This is the church at Smyrna. The fellowship there faced intense pressure from the state and from the community. Jesus called them to be faithful even unto death!

In the text, the Lord provides incentives to encourage the church to be faithful. These incentives are intended for us as well. We Can Be Faithful By God’s Grace!
