1 John 1:5-7
“This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son purifies us from all sin.”
Big Idea: God can work through anyone, anytime, anywhere to reach anyone, anytime, anywhere.
2 Peter 3:9
It says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
1. If we want to be used by God, anytime, anywhere, we MUST know His will.
Matthew 23:37
“O Jerusalem, Jersalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who sent you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.”
Revelation 7:9,10
“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’”
2. If we want to be used by God anytime, anywhere, we must know His calling on our lives.
Jeremiah 1:4,5
“The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the wormb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’”
Hebrews 9:14
“How much more, the, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our conscienses from acts that lead to death, SO THAT WE MAY SERVE THE LIVING GOD!”
1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy natiotn, a people belonging to God, THAT YOU MAY declare the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness and into this wonderful light.
3. In order for God to work through us anytime, anywhere to anyone, anytime, anywhere, we must ADJUST OUR LIVES AND JOIN GOD IN HIS WORK.
John 5:19,20
“Jesus gave them this answer: ‘I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does.”
