Questions for Spiritual Growth

Our Cornerstone mission is To Know Christ and Make Him Known. Community Groups help us to live out our mission as we discuss the Scripture passage from the sermon, how to apply it, and pray for one another.

  1. How do you normally respond to troubles in your own life or the life of others? How would you counsel someone or yourself when you feel lonely and afflicted (v. 16)?

  2. How do you seek to know the ways and paths of the Lord (v. 4)?

  3. How do you keep the covenant and testimonies of the Lord (v. 10)?

  4. How would our lives be different if our eyes were continually toward the Lord (v. 15)?

  5. How are you living a life of integrity and walking in uprightness (v. 21)?

  6. What does it mean when David says, “I will wait for You?” Why is it hard for many to “wait on the Lord?”

  7. When things are out of our control, we are to trust God. When things are in our control, we are to obey God. Why is it hard to trust and/or obey God when we are in the midst of troubles?

  8. How can you apply Psalm 25 to your daily life?
