The soul is the place where God wants to
Shift 1:
A shift in orientation from focusing on ourselves to focusing on others.
Shift 2:
A shift in identity from serving God to loving God.
Shift 3:
A shift in values from embracing things that are temporary to embracing things that are eternal.
Shift 4:
A shift in ownership from acquiring things for ourselves to offering what we have to God and others.
Shift 5:
A shift in posture from asking others to listening to God.
Shift 6:
A shift in influence from following the crowd to leading like Christ.
Shift 7:
A shift in priority from individualism to community.
Next Steps
Pray frequently:
“Search me, O God, and know me. Speak to me, and lead me in the way of life. As we begin our study of the SoulShifts, I give You permission to speak to me about any of them. I am listening. Help me to be humble and open to new things so that I won’t miss Your very best for me. In the name of Christ. Amen”
