John 15:15-16 (NIV)
“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.“

A Relationship With Jesus …

• Means He isn’t trying to “use us” as servants.

• Means He is letting us in on His plans.

• Means that He changes who we are and how we impact others.

• Means that He allows us to make requests to the Father.

Four Things Essential for Any Friendship

• Know

• Talk

• Listen

• Sacrifice

Romans 12:1 (NIV)
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Communion

• Is there something that the Lord has been saying to you for a while that you have been hesitant to listen to?

• What does it look like for you to offer yourself back to Jesus this week as a living sacrifice?”
