Wild Faith part 3 - BETHEL
IN LIFE THERE ARE ONLY 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE:
NATURAL PEOPLE - (not received Christ) - they do not accept the things of the Spirit/
CARNAL PEOPLE - (received Christ, but lives life in their own strength and power…)
Churches have allowed:
- pettiness to make us powerless
- ignorance to make us ineffective
- preferences to make us critical of each other
SPIRIT LED PEOPLE - (Jesus is on the throne, Holy Spirit empowered)
Isaiah 43:19
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
THE NEW LIFE OF SPIRIT LED LIVING is in THE WILD!
THE EMPOWERED LIFE is in THE WILD!
THE WAY TO YOUR GROWTH = in the wild
THE WAY TO NEXT = in the wild
WILDERNESS = BIBLICALLY A TIME WHEN MEN MADE THE DECISION TO CHASE AFTER A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AS THEY NEVER HAVE BEFORE.
THE WILDERNESS IS A TIME WHEN GOD’S PEOPLE DECIDE THAT
- INTIMACY WITH HIM
- FOLLOWING HIM
KNOWING HIM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HAVING WHAT I WANT.
MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PRAISE OF MEN
- MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY EGO
- MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING IN LIFE.
ELIJAH, THE FATHER, TAKES ELISHA, THE PROPHET INTO THE WILD TO 4 STOPS
2 Kings 2:2
2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
2nd OPPORTUNITY to EMBRACE THE WILD = Bethel
BETHEL means the HOUSE OF GOD
1 Corinthians 6:19
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
BETHEL = Where you are identified by your PROXIMITY not your PERFORMANCE.
WE ARE A HOUSE OF GOD because of HOW
Acts 4:13
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

THE LAW OF COMMUNICABLE ATTRIBUTES:
- WHEN YOU SHARE, CONNECT AND SPEND TIME - YOU UNDERSTAND AND YOU CHANGE…
PURPOSE of Humanity = to be a
YOU NEED TO SPEND TIME WITH GOD - PURSUING GOD IN THE WILD!
LIVE as a BETHEL!
- YOU ARE MADE AND FORMED IN THE IMAGE OF GOD TO GO TOE TO TOE WITH THE ENEMY!
- YOU ARE BETHEL!
- YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST!
YOU ARE CALLED TO COME TO CHURCH AND ENCOURAGE THE CHURCH TO BE THE CHURCH IN THE WILD!

HEARING = ACTIVE LISTENING.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

That’s why it’s so important to be at church every single chance you can.

HEAR WHAT GOD IS SAYING THROUGH THE WORD BEING PREACHED!

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:LEAN IN
Keeping a prayer journal is another great way to identify the Holy Spirit’s voice. Write down what you’ve asked the Lord for and the different ways He has answered those prayers. Write the thoughts He brings to your mind.
“Hearing” in Romans 10:17 is in the “infinitive” form…
It means hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing…
HEARING increases your faith.
Having HEARD only increases your religion.
Matthew 11:25
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
LISTEN LIKE A CHILD WHO IS LEARNING…
Our essential problem with faith is that we are so willing to hear other’s voices over His…that we get distracted…
2. “AUDIBLE
John 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
WHEN THE WORD OF GOD BECOMES SPIRIT
- We impart His presence through our speech.
WHEN WE SAY WHAT THE FATHER IS SAYING
- We change the options of every hearer.
WHEN WE SAY WHAT WE FEEL…
- We TURN OFF OUR AUTHORITY and become religious stumbling blocks.
START BEING PREOCCUPIED and DECLARE WHO HE IS!
STOP BEING NEED CONCIOUS AND BECOME GLORY OBSESSED!
We have been robbed from agenda smitten religious and political leaders who have
become obsessed with taking the spoils of the culture around us rather
than CHASING AFTER RELATIONSHIP WITH A HOLY FATHER!
GETTING THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE were never intended to be the source where we find fulfillment.
FULFILLMENT IS ONLY FOUND THROUGH RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER.
- following Him through the valley of the shadow of death
- and green pastures and still waters…
RELATIONSHIP WITH MAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOD’S GOAL OF FULFILLING MANKIND SINCE THE BEGINNING:
What was the goal of the enemy in the garden?
To take away authority and silence them by separating them from God.
IF HE COULD SEPARATE MEN AND WOMEN FROM INTIMACY WITH GOD THEN THEY COULD NOT WALK IN THE AUTHORITY THEY WERE CALLED TO.
BETHEL IS WHEN WE STOP BEING NEED CONCIOUS AND BECOME GLORY OBSESSED!
We are called to live being in the state of the spirit/in the realm of the spirit…
It is in the GLORY REALM that GOD RELEASES WORDS for us to DECLARE:
- Christ in me the hope of glory…
- I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST!
- I AM BLESSED WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN CHRIST!
- SEATED WITH HIM IN HEAVENLY PLACES…
- I HAVE VICTORY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST MY LORD!
- He always leads me triumphantly by the Messiah and through me spreads everywhere the fragrance of knowing Him
- I am in Christ Jesus and therefore I am a new creation. Old things have passed away and all things have become new.
If you CHANGE your preoccupation you will CHANGE your declaration
IF YOU CHANGE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT, YOU WILL CHANGE WHAT YOU TALK ABOUT.
Luke 9:1-2, v6
1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
v 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
Matthew 10:7 - 8
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
PREACH = to declare as someone with authority!
WE ARE KINGDOM PEOPLE!
FEAR = A SPIRIT CALLED TO BE DOMINATED BY CHRISTIANS.
EXHAUSTION = A SPIRIT THAT ATTACKS U TO GET U INTO APATHY!
3. “RELEASE RIGHTEOUSNESS” =
Matthew 10:7 - 8
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
What did you freely receive? - His presence.
“What is the call of God on my life?”
- heal the sick
- raise the dead
- cast out demons
- cleanse lepers
JUST STEP OUT AND RELEASE WHAT IS ALREADY ACTIVE INSIDE OF YOU… Stop waiting…
Spirit of Exhaustion controls you and NOT the Holy Spirit.
Spirit of Fear controls you and NOT the Holy Spirit.
John 16:22 - 24
22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
WE SHOULD NEVER PRAY WITHOUT EXPECTATION...
Our joy is connected to the breakthrough - not the FORM…
Jesus said the Father will give you what you ask so that you can have JOY!!!
WHEN WE PRAY WITH FAITH:
- WE RELEASE ANGELS
- WE RELEASE ANSWERS
- WE RELEASE RESOURCES
And we react at the end of the prayer with JOY!
Prayer is connected with Faith.
We are praying with full faith and standing on the fact that as I connect with the presence of God - in the authority of Jesus - whatever I have prayed for is going to come to pass - because God wants to bless me with JOY!
EVERY DAY:
- GET IN THE PRIVATE PLACE AND SEEK HIS FACE.
- GET IN THE PUBLIC PLACE AND TAKE RISKS FOR THE KINGDOM.
LEAN IN TO LISTEN
- HAVE AUDIBLE AUTHORITY
- RELEASE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
