Questions to help reveal the fraudulent idols:
Who or what do you live for?
Marriage, children, job, house, beauty, sex, image, comfort, sports. These are not all bad things. But, when good things become “god things” they become bad things. They are inadequate gods!
Who or what can you not live without?
Things you just have to have.
Who or what is at the center of your life?
What does your life and schedule orbit around?
