• Have faith, but don’t impose it on others.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities… —Romans 13:1
• Take the posture of honoring the Lord.
• Submit to the highest governing authority.
• Stand for our religious freedoms with respect.
4. Being Strong in the Lord
“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses?” —Jeremiah 12:5
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

The gospel is for hard times.
• Recover the strength of the gospel.
• Through Jesus we overcome.
5. Preparing for the Harvest
• Seize the moment corporately.
• Redeem this time individually.
• Prioritize God.
When we believe Psalm 91 is true, we have shelter and protection!

1. In Matthew 4:5-7 Satan dared Jesus to jump off the temple since angels would protect Him. How did He respond? How can we apply that to our current situation?
2. Scripture tells us to obey authorities with exceptions. Why do you think we should or should not obey authorities right now?
3. We currently face some competing concerns, safety vs. economy, liberty vs. submission. How can we discuss our different ideas without it becoming divisive or hurtful?
