A Couple Notes on Taking Notes
To take notes, click into the square to the right of the blue “comment box.” If you are logged into the FCC app, it should automatically save them until the next Sermon Guide is published (i.e., it changes each Sun morning.) To save a copy, email your notes to yourself (scroll to the bottom.)
Follow Along with the Sermon Manuscript (sort of, mostly, kind of):
(Note: The preacher doesn’t always follow word for word, especially when Scott preaches. He’s often all over the place, like a crazy person. But, it will help you follow the train of thought and prepare for your study below.)

Series Memory Verse
John 20:31 – But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Sermon Notes
John 4:46-54– 46So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill.
John 2:23 – So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill.
47When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” 49The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” 50Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.2 Corinthians 5:7 – For we walk by faith, not by sight.
51As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. 52So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household. 54This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.
John 21:25 – Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
Takeaway Question
Do you trust in the Word of Jesus alone, or do you find yourself needing some sort of sign and wonder to believe?
