DAY FOURTEEN — WHAT THE DEVIL?

Yes, there really is a literal devil. He is not just a made up character by the church or Hollywood to try and scare people. According to the teachings of the New Testament, the devil is subject to the name of Jesus. There is no need to fear him. However, we should not underestimate him or his power. He is a formidable foe. If you apply the lessons learned in this study, you will understand the enemy of your soul better and be poised for victory.

DAY FIFTEEN — VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL

Before you started making your move toward God, the devil didn’t worry about you. Now that you are a Christ-follower, he is very upset. The Bible calls the devil your “adversary” (1 Peter 5:8). He is out to get you. Nothing would please him more than for you to mess up, fail God and feel badly about it. However, the good news is that Jesus defeated him on the cross and because of Christ’s victory, you can overcome any attack from the enemy.

2) According to this scripture, who is hell prepared for? Matthew 25:41

3) Because of the death, burial and resurrection, what did Jesus do to Satan? Colossians 2:15

9) Do you believe you have the same authority and power that the early disciples had?

1. Because Jesus lives on the inside of you, now you have power over all the works of the enemy.

2. Exercise that authority and don’t be afraid. You are the light of the world!
