Christmas Offering
The mission of TrueNorth is to lead people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. For 16 years, the words of Jesus in Luke 15:4 have defined who we are and what we are about: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them—what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it.” We have pursued this calling passionately and God has blessed us with thousands of changed lives. That mission continues to call us to be “for the one.”
In March 2019, we launched a campaign to raise $1.3 million to begin a $9 million campus expansion. We are currently only $147,000 short of our goal. We are praying and believing that our Christmas offering which is designated toward our “For the One” Campaign will help us reach that goal as we begin 2021. Please prayerfully consider how you can help us continue to “reach the one.” You can give on Sunday mornings with our provided Christmas Offering envelopes or online at truenorthchurch.com/give, just be sure to designate “For the One.”
December 13 & 20: Care Drive
We will be collecting items for Community Ministry of North Augusta today and next Sunday. Community Ministry serves the North Augusta area by meeting physical, spiritual, mental health, behavioral, and social needs. Collection bins will be located around the plaza on both Sundays.
Items we are collecting include:
- peanut butter
- jelly
- canned meat (tuna, Vienna sausages, etc.)
- spaghetti sauce
- chicken noodle soup
- tomato soup
- toilet paper
- toothpaste
- toothbrushes
