1. Can you describe a time when you felt God asking you to do something that you didn’t really want to do? What did you do? How did it work out?
2. Does obedience to God strike you as an obligation or as an opportunity? Explain your answer.
3. Peter says, “But because You say so, I will….” What does that phrase imply about Peter’s relationship with Jesus? In your experience, what can you do to cultivate a “Because You say so” relationship with Jesus?
4. Peter made his boat available to Jesus. What in your life could you make available to Jesus? What do you imagine He might do with it once you make it available to Him?
5. In what area are you struggling to obey God right now? What makes this a struggle for you?
