Five blessings God has for your life
A. Blessing of direction
a. “The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:8 NLT
b. In order to say yes to God’s plan, you will have to say no to others
c. God has a specific path for your life
d. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”” ESV 1:5 Jeremiah
B. Blessing of Provision
a. God’s provision in your life is all encompassing
b. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” ESV 4:19 Philippians
c. God’s provision comes with a responsibility to help others.
C. Blessing of Favor
a. God’s favor will take you further and faster than you can go on your own.
b. “His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands. So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.” Genesis 4-39:3 ESV
D. Blessing of Protection
a. God’s protection does not mean you will not have battles, it means God will fight your battles.
b. “The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?” Psalms 27:1 NLT
E. Blessing of Impact
a. God wants your life to make a difference in the lives of others.
b. The greatest impact you can make is to tell others about Jesus.
c. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 ESV
