BiG Idea: Commitment to Jesus is a STEP followed by a

2 Corinthians 5:15
And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.

1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

When we transfer our trust to Jesus, He takes up

and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

The Lord is our

Ephsians 3:17a
and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith…

Luke 22:42-43
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me—nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

There is nothing we could ever imagine that God can’t do - for His glory
