Galatians 3:26-27(NKJV) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

PUT ON CHRIST!
1. Christ is our primary

.
2. Our relationship with Christ is .
3. We are to Christ.
4. We have to the Father.

Galatians 3:28-29(NKJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

WHERE ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY?

Galatians 4:1-2(NKJV) Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.

3. Are you

Galatians 4:3-5(NKJV) Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

4. Do you see God as

?
a. Next step: .

Galatians 4:6-7(NKJV) And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Romans 8:15-16(NIV) The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Seeing God as Father and yourself as a son leads to a life of obedience because the two main reasons to rebel are the fear of missing out on fulfillment, and losing the approval of others. Both of these beasts are beaten when you live a life of freedom in Christ with the approval of the Father!
