BIG IDEA: Hope is alive and available today because of Jesus’ victory over death.

Worldly hope = to wish for something with the expectation of its fulfilment

Biblical hope = to wish for something with the expectation of its fulfilment powered by our faith in what Jesus did in the past, what Jesus is doing currently, and what Jesus is going to do in the future

Where do you turn for hope?

What we see on that first Easter morning

  3. Jesus gives to His followers. 1 Peter 1:3

Applying this to our lives

  1. Hope is

to ordinary people like me and you.
    Romans 15:13

  2. It is so easy for us to be consumed with despair and hopelessness.
    Isaiah 43:2

  3. Jesus invites you to
