Compassion’s Mission

Releasing Children from poverty in Jesus’ name!

• 40% more likely to finish secondary school
• 80% more likely to finish college.

17 If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? 18 Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
1 John 3:17,18

If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
Isaiah 58:10

What does Child Sponsorship provide?

They receive nutritious meals/clean water – often for the first time in their lives.

They receive a few sets of clothing and shoes that aren’t broke.

These children receive immediate medical care.

For kids living in extreme poverty in Ecuador, school is not an option because public school isn’t free.

As they age, they receive important life skills training in income-generating vocations, so they have a career when they graduate from the program.

Compassion kids receive age-appropriate Bible teaching that gives them the opportunity to have a relationship with Jesus.

They get to experience the love and support of a local church family and the one-on-one relationship with you and me their sponsors.

All this work is done as a partnership with the local church in Taisha and Macas in their community.
