What does Paul do while he is waiting in Athens? What is distressing him? Paul is an outside observer of Athens. Why would being an outsider help someone see what a different culture values? As a follower of Jesus, we are to be in the world but not of the world. What do you notice is highly valued in our culture?
Why is paying attention so important when sharing our faith in Jesus with others? What keeps us from paying attention?

4. Connect their pain and longings with Jesus.
