Do you know how powerful songs are?

Today’s Christmas Carol: O Come All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
O come and behold Him, born the King of Angels
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation
Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!
Glory to God
All glory in the highest
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord!

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning
Jesus, to Thee be glory given
Word of the Father
Now in flesh appearing
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord!

This Carol was originally written in 1751 in Latin with the title ‘Adeste Fideles’ by John Francis Wade.

It was translated into English in 1841 by Frederick Oakley.

Psalm 98:4-6

4 Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
break out in praise and sing for joy!
5 Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song,
6 with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn.
Make a joyful symphony before the Lord, the King!

is an Invitation.

Isaiah 55:1

, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, , buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

This Christmas season, there is an invitation to come.

What will you do with that invitation?

Faithful * Joyful * Triumphant
These words describe the people who are invited to come.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.
2 Corinthians 2:14

This Christmas season, come as you are.

Trade your Doubt, Depression, and Defeat for His Faithfulness, Joy, and Triumph.

Behold: do we take time to ?

How can you make time to ‘behold’ in this season?

Who is sitting on the

of your life?

This is an invitation…
1. Do you need to accept the invitation?
2. Do you need to come?
3. Do you need to surrender to His Lordship?
4. Do you need to be faithful?
5. Do you need to walk in His joy?
