2021 Bible Reading Plan

Do you want to read through the New Testament, but have a hard time knowing where to start or how to keep going? Follow along with TrueNorth’s Bible Reading Plan. Together we will walk through the entire New Testament in 2021. Our plan is designed so that you only read one chapter during the week and a short selection from Psalms or Proverbs on the weekends. Our hope is to foster a daily encounter with God, both individually and as a church family, while enjoying one of the greatest gifts we have, God’s Word.
You can pick up a copy of the TrueNorth Bible Reading Plan on campus, download a digital copy from our website here, or follow along through the digital resource on the TrueNorth App.
We are selling Bibles if you’d like to read through the plan in a non-digital format. Slimlines are available for $10. LifeApp Study Bibles have been re-stocked, and are available for $50. Both are the NLT version.

Every Tuesday: Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a ministry for people who are hurting. It is made up of regular people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers on the journey to healing.
CR is now meeting every Tuesday at 7pm, and everyone is welcome. Discover more about this ministry here.

TODAY: Baptism Class

Baptism is a Next Step in your journey of faith after accepting Christ. When a person is baptized we see it as a celebration of life change. If you are considering being baptized, we invite you to attend one of the baptism classes offered today at 9 or 11am in the Care Room.
If your child is in the fifth grade or under please call the church office (803.279.1555) to make an appointment to meet with a staff member.
More information on baptism time and location will be provided in class.

January 18: TrueNorth Church Office Closed

The office will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will resume normal hours (8:30am-4:30pm) on Tuesday, January 19.

January 18: GriefShare Begins

Gather resources and learn biblical approaches for dealing with grief at this class. Class will be held at 7pm on Mondays beginning January 18.
There will be materials to purchase after the first couple of weeks of class.

January 24: Financial Peace University Begins

Financial Peace University is a video-driven class based on Dave Ramsey’s best-selling books. Get a grip on your finances with this 9-week course. Financial Peace is a common sense, Biblical approach to making your relationship with money a blessing and not a burden, with lessons such as the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more.
Note: There is a fee for class materials that includes special access to Dave Ramsey’s online tools and information.
This class begins Sunday, January 24 at 6:30pm. Childcare will not be provided.

January 25: Divorce Care Begins - NEW START DATE

Gather resources and learn biblical approaches for dealing with divorce this class. Class will be held at 6:30pm on Mondays beginning January 25.
There will be materials to purchase after the first couple of weeks of class.
