Steps to listen to the Spirit’s voice:
1. Set aside a designated .

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. —Mark 1:35 NIV


2. Eliminate .

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. —Matthew 6:6 NIV


3. Let God .

23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. —Psalm 139:23–24 NIV


4. Ask God to you.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” —Isaiah 6:8 NIV


5. God’s promptings.

The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” —Acts 8:29 NIV
