Choosing the Blessed Life

Psalm 1
1 How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!
2 Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
4 The wicked are not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand up in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

Life is filled with opportunities and choices - those opportunities we take and choices we make will shape our lives and our influence.

• Wednesday Night Kids and Students - will kickoff on Wednesday, August 16th 6:15-7:30pm.

• Wedding Shower - for Hannah Blann, fiance to Andrew James, son of Kevin & Penny James, on Sunday, August 20th @2:00 in the Red Bldg. Great Room. Hannah is registered at Target, Walmart, The Kitchen Store in Conway, and Zola.com.

• Baby Shower - for Rachel Harness Sunday, August 20th @5:00pm in the Blue Bldg. Cafe’/Studio. She and Sam are registered at Target and Amazon. It’s a BOY!

• Ladies Tuesday Morning Bible Study - will start on Tuesday, September. 5th @ 9:30am. Diane Powell will be leading the study, Disciple’s Prayer Life, Walking in Fellowship with God, by T.W. Hunt and Catherine Walker. The books are available now for $10. You can pick yours up anytime during the week M-Th, 8:30-4:30. Or they will be available on Sunday morning, Aug. 20th before the 10:30 service.
